Chicago
I just got some disposable cameras processed, these are from the first few days here:
underneath where we catch the redline
our courtyard (before they finished the grass)
ridin' the L
waiting on a transfer
people running around
there are tulips planted all over down town
in the modern wing of the art institute, this guy is trying to convince that woman that cy twombly is a great painter
there is a bridge from millenium park right into the newly opened modern wing
the bean in millenium park, I like the tourists that come here
dang

in Chicago
We got into Chicago yesterday. We live really close to the "Latin District" so I had a cactus and fried pork rind sandwich for lunch. We went to Ikea.

moving!!
On the move, in Indianapolis today...to arrive in Chicago tomorrow. Some highlights:
1. Our movers, after commenting on the high number of "a-rabs" in our neighborhood, using the word dang in a serious context
2. Leaving Macon, GA (nothing to do there)
3. Drunk southern woman in a bar in downtown Nashville picking a fight with 5 20 year olds from Brooklyn (over them wearing cutoff sweatshirts).
4. Memphis/Graceland -- pictures to come
5. Lincoln's birthplace, home in Kentucky

Deitch Artist
Kristin Baker, abstracted paintings based on race car culture... I'm curious if she's painting on sintra (it says acrylic on PVC?)
