Chicago Auto Show

02/21 was the last day of the auto show, I heard so many different things about it that I took the bus out to McCormick Place to check it out:





There was a lot of the longing that goes with luxury objects




...and a ton of blue carpet:




The Army had a large recruitment section...offering "physical challenges" in exchange for t-shirts. They also displayed a mock field hospital, flight simulators (the kind you are locked into like a tomb) and some giant hummer looking vehicle that you weren't permitted to photograph. There were at least a dozen computers ready for you to put your information into (even the army needs a mailing list):
